This policy explains what personal data HomeXCare Cosmetics collects through homexcare.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by HomeXCare Kozmetik Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("HomeXCare Cosmetics", "we", "us"), a manufacturer of home care, personal care and air care products registered in Türkiye.

For the purposes of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), HomeXCare Cosmetics is the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What data we collect

• Contact form data. When you use the enquiry form on our homepage we collect the name, email address, company name (optional) and message content you enter.
• Email correspondence. If you write to us directly or message us on WhatsApp, we hold the content of that correspondence and the contact details you used.
• Technical server data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server log data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting purposes.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric or financial account information) through this website.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry — to send product information, technical data sheets, samples, quotations and pricing. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To manage an ongoing commercial relationship — order handling, export documentation and customer support. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• To keep the site secure and working — spam prevention, error diagnosis and abuse prevention. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
• To meet legal obligations — commercial, tax and export record-keeping duties under Turkish law. Legal basis: compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the details you send us for unrelated marketing campaigns.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. Pages that embed a Google Maps frame may cause Google to set cookies and receive your IP address when that map loads; that processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy. If we add analytics or marketing tools in future, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.

5. Who your data is shared with

Your enquiry is received by our sales and export team. We may share personal data with service providers who act on our instructions — in particular our website hosting and email provider — and with professional advisers, or public authorities where the law requires it. Our website and mail servers are located in Türkiye. Where data is transferred outside your country, we take appropriate steps to ensure it remains protected.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship are kept for up to two years so we can follow up and refer back to earlier correspondence. Records relating to an actual customer relationship are kept for the periods required by Turkish commercial and tax law. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

7. How we protect it

Enquiry data is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection and delivered to a password-protected corporate mailbox. Access is limited to employees who need it in order to reply to you.

8. Your rights

Under the KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR you have the right to learn whether we process your personal data, to request access to it and information about how it is used, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure or restriction of processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to request a copy of the data you provided in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We will respond within the period set by applicable law. If you believe your data has been handled improperly you may lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, in the EU, with your local supervisory authority.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

10. Links to other sites

Our site links to external services such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services and encourage you to read their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revision date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
