Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data HomeXCare Cosmetics collects through homexcare.com, why we collect it, who processes it for us, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. It is also our information notice under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

1. Who we are

This website is operated by HomeXCare Kozmetik Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. ("HomeXCare Cosmetics", "we", "us"), a manufacturer of household cleaning, laundry and personal care products registered in Türkiye (MERSİS No. 0463154132500001).

For the purposes of the KVKK, HomeXCare Cosmetics is the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. What data we collect

• Contact form. The company name, country, business type, estimated order size, products of interest, name, email address, phone number (optional) and message you enter, and your confirmation that you have read this policy. Together with your enquiry we record technical details of the submission: your IP address, the approximate location derived from it (country and city), your browser's user-agent string, the page you came from and the date and time.
• Email and WhatsApp correspondence. If you write to us directly or message us on WhatsApp, we hold the content of that correspondence and the contact details you used.
• Website usage data — only with your consent. If you accept analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics measures page views and page-load performance. On the Turkish-language pages only, Google Analytics 4 also collects information about how you use the site, such as the pages you view, how you arrived, the file you download (for example the catalogue), your device and browser type and your approximate location; it is not used on the other language versions. See section 4.
• Technical request data. Like every website, our hosting and security provider processes the IP address and request details of each visit in order to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks.

We collect these data electronically: from what you enter in the form on this website or send us by email or WhatsApp, automatically from your browser when it requests our pages, and — only after you click "Accept" — through the analytics tools described in section 4.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric or financial account information) through this website.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry — to send product information, the catalogue, technical data sheets, samples, quotations and pricing. Legal basis: the processing is directly related to and necessary for the establishment of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c), and it is necessary for our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
• To manage an ongoing commercial relationship — order handling, export documentation and customer support. Legal basis: performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
• To keep the site secure and working — delivering pages, spam and abuse prevention, error diagnosis; this is why we record the technical details of each form submission. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (KVKK Art. 5/2-f).
• To understand how the site is used (Cloudflare Web Analytics; on the Turkish-language pages also Google Analytics 4). Legal basis: your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time (KVKK Art. 5/1).
• To meet legal obligations — commercial, tax and export record-keeping under Turkish law. Legal basis: compliance with our legal obligations (KVKK Art. 5/2-ç).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the details you send us for unrelated marketing campaigns.

4. Cookies and analytics

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is loaded only after you click "Accept"; Google Analytics 4 is used only on the Turkish-language pages, and only after you click "Accept" in the banner shown there. If you decline or ignore the banner, neither is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. The table lists everything this website stores in your browser; our hosting and security provider sets no cookies on this site.

We use the Google Analytics reports only in aggregated form, and we have not enabled advertising features. Google and Cloudflare process the analytics data on servers in many countries, including the United States, so it may be processed outside Türkiye (see section 6).

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing your browser's site data. If you withdraw your consent, the _ga cookies are deleted and neither analytics tool is loaded again.

The fonts, images, 3D product views, film and catalogue are served from our own website, not from third parties. The map on our contact section is loaded from Google Maps only when you click "Show map"; from that moment Google may set cookies and receive your IP address under its own privacy policy.

5. Who processes your data for us

Your enquiry is read by our sales and export team. We also use the following service providers, who process personal data on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, content delivery and security of this website, and, only if you accept analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics. Processes the IP address and request data of every visit, and passes contact-form submissions to our mail system.
• Google — Google Workspace (our company email, where your enquiry is delivered), Google Apps Script and Google Sheets (the internal archive of website enquiries), and, only on the Turkish-language pages and only if you accept analytics cookies there, Google Analytics 4.

We may also share personal data with professional advisers (such as our accountants and lawyers), with the customs broker and carriers involved in an export shipment, and with public authorities where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside Türkiye

Cloudflare and Google operate servers in many countries, including member states of the European Union and the United States. Personal data processed through this website — the request data handled by Cloudflare, the enquiries kept in Google Workspace, Apps Script and Sheets and, only with your consent, the analytics data — may therefore be transferred outside Türkiye. We carry out such transfers in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK.

7. How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship, including the technical details recorded with them: up to two years, so that we can follow up and refer back to earlier correspondence.
• Records of an actual customer relationship: for the periods required by Turkish commercial and tax law.
• Google Analytics data: at most 14 months.
• Hosting and security logs: for the short periods set by our hosting provider.
• Your cookie choice and the analytics cookies: as shown in the table in section 4.

8. How we protect it

The website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Contact-form submissions are passed over encrypted connections to our company email and to an internal archive that only authorised staff can open. Access to enquiries is limited to employees who need it in order to reply to you.

9. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right to:

• learn whether we process your personal data;
• request information about the processing if we do;
• learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with it;
• know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred;
• ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected;
• ask for your data to be erased or destroyed under the conditions set by the KVKK;
• ask that a correction, erasure or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom your data was transferred;
• object to a result to your detriment that arises solely from the automated analysis of your data;
• claim compensation if you suffer damage because your data was processed unlawfully.

You can also withdraw your consent to analytics at any time (see section 4).

To apply, send us a signed letter at our registered office in section 1, or email info@homexcare.com from the email address you have previously given us and that is registered in our systems (for example the one you used in our contact form). We also accept applications made by the other methods set out in Article 5 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, such as a secure electronic signature or a mobile signature.

Please include your name and surname (and your signature if you write by letter), your Turkish identity number or, if you are not a Turkish citizen, your nationality and passport number, your address for notifications, your email address, telephone or fax number if you have one, and what you are requesting.

We answer free of charge, as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days. If we answer in writing, the first 10 pages are free and a fee of TRY 1 may be charged for each further page; if we give the answer on a recording medium, we may charge the cost of that medium.

If your application is rejected, you find our answer insufficient or we do not answer in time, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Board (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu) within 30 days of learning our answer and in any case within 60 days of your application (KVKK Art. 14).

10. Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11. Links to other sites

Our site links to the HIGHJEN and sens moi brand websites, highjen.com and sensmoi.com, which have their own privacy policies, and to external services such as WhatsApp and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services and encourage you to read their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website, services or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
